You’ll find that sometimes a few of the application boxes in the Data Exchange editor are light gray while others have the standard blue color (see The Model).
This occurs when you've deleted an application that previously appeared on a diagram. To facilitate its potential reinstatement, we retain it on the diagram but display it in a light gray color.
Here is an example of a Data Flow Exchange diagram that contains the delete application “Del App”.
Here’s another example: a Capability Map that contains the deleted application “Del App 4”.
